素材、縫製、染色のすべてに徹底的にこだわり抜いた、名前の通り“Artisan”を体現するシャツです。KANEMASA PHIL.独自の46ゲージスーパーハイゲージ編み機で天竺素材を編み立て、80/1のリサイクルスビンコットンを100％使用。さらに塩縮加工を施すことで、生地表面に独特のシボ感と豊かな表情を生み出しました。他にはない唯一無二の素材感が特徴です。その後、2色による絞り染めを施し、一点一点異なる奥行きのある表情を表現。特殊柔軟染色加工によって素材本来の落ち感やシアー感をより際立たせています。乾燥工程では一点一点自然乾燥を行い、生地の風合いを損なうことなく丁寧に仕上げました。ハイゲージ素材ならではの軽やかさと高いストレッチ性を兼ね備え、一度袖を通すと手放せなくなる快適な着心地を実現。さらりと羽織れる新たな定番素材として提案します。縫製面でも細部までこだわり、薄手で扱いが難しいハイゲージ素材を国内の熟練した縫製工場で丁寧に仕立てています。裾や袖口、ポケットにはあえて切りっぱなしの仕様を採用し、ヨークやカフスにはギャザーを施すことで、クラフト感と繊細さを共存させました。ディテールはドレスシャツをベースに設計。ボタンには貝蝶ボタンを使用し、裏面にはブランド刻印を施しています。ゆとりを持たせたボックスシルエットも特徴のひとつ。着用時に生まれる美しいドレープ感は、この素材ならではの魅力です。また、切りっぱなし仕様や芯地の使用を最小限に抑えることで、生地そのものの風合いを活かしながらシルエットを構築しています。職人の手仕事による絞り染めと、ブランド独自の素材開発が融合したArtisanシリーズならではの特別な一着です。

布の一部を縛るなどして染料が浸透しない部分を作り出し、模様を表現する伝統的な染色 技法です。一点ごとに異なる表情が生まれます。

薬剤を生地に浸透させて収縮させることで、生地表面に独特の凹凸感やシボ感を生み出す 加工です。

■INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
This shirt embodies the spirit of “Artisan” in every sense of the word, with meticulous attention to detail in every aspect-from the fabric and stitching to the dyeing process. The jersey fabric is knitted on KANEMASA PHIL.’s proprietary 46-gauge super-high-gauge knitting machine, using 100% 80/1 recycled spun cotton. Furthermore, a salt-shrinking process creates a unique textured finish and rich character on the fabric’s surface. It is characterized by a one-of-a-kind texture unlike any other. The fabric is then subjected to a two-color tie-dye process, giving each piece a distinct, deep character. A special softening and dyeing treatment further accentuates the fabric’s natural drape and sheer quality. During the drying process, each piece is air-dried individually to ensure a careful finish that preserves the fabric’s texture. Combining the lightness and high stretch typical of high-gauge fabrics, it offers a level of comfort that makes it impossible to take off once you put it on. We present this as a new staple fabric that you can effortlessly throw on. We’ve paid meticulous attention to every detail in the sewing process as well, carefully crafting this thin, difficult-to-handle high-gauge fabric at a skilled domestic sewing factory. We’ve intentionally left the hems, cuffs, and pockets raw-edged, while adding gathers to the yoke and cuffs to create a harmonious blend of artisanal charm and delicacy. The details are designed with a dress shirt as the foundation. We use mother-of-pearl buttons, each engraved with the brand name on the reverse side. Another defining feature is the relaxed, boxy silhouette. The beautiful drape that forms when worn is a charm unique to this fabric. Furthermore, by minimizing the use of raw-edge finishes and interlining, we’ve constructed the silhouette while highlighting the fabric’s inherent texture. This is a special piece unique to the Artisan series, born from the fusion of artisanal tie-dyeing and the brand’s proprietary fabric development.

※Tie-dye
A traditional dyeing technique that creates patterns by tying off sections of the fabric to prevent dye from penetrating those areas. Each piece has a unique appearance.

※Salt-shrink processing
A process that involves saturating the fabric with a chemical agent to cause it to shrink, creating a unique textured and crinkled surface.

※Since organic cotton is used, contamination (the presence of foreign fibers) may occasionally be visible.
