アメリカの学校、スポーツチーム、軍のトレーニングなどで日常的に使われてきたスウェットパンツを背景にした一本。運動着として生まれた簡潔な構造は、使い込みや、退色などで、古着ならではの個人的な表情へ変わっていく。それらを汲み取り再現した日焼け、洗濯、摩擦を重ねた乾いた退色がこのアイテムの大きな特徴。BOW WOWでは整い過ぎた復刻ではなく、持ち主の生活や用途が後から服に刻まれたような状態を先に想定し、その“時間の痕跡”まで含めて新品のプロダクトとして組み立てております。形は深めの股上による太すぎないけどリラックスムードあるストレートシルエット。切りっ放し仕様の裾は着用時にブーツカットの様に広がりを持ち、美しくも抜け感ある立ち姿を演出してくれます。

■INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
This piece is inspired by sweatpants that have been a staple in American schools, sports teams, and military training. Their simple construction, originally designed for athletic wear, evolves over time through wear and fading to take on the unique, personal character of vintage clothing. The key feature of this item is the dry, faded look achieved through repeated sun exposure, washing, and friction that captures and recreates this authentic vintage character. At BOW WOW, rather than creating a perfectly polished reissue, we envision the garment as if the owner’s lifestyle and usage had already left their mark on it, and we assemble it as a brand-new product that incorporates even those “traces of time.” The silhouette is a straight cut not too baggy but with a relaxed feel and the raw-edge hem gently flares out like a bootcut when worn, creating a beautiful silhouette.
