アメリカのワーク/アスレチックウエアから発達したフーデッドスウェットを背景にした一着。寒い現場や競技の待機時に頭部まで覆える実用品として広まり、戦後はカレッジ、スケート、ヒップホップなど幅広いユースカルチャーの基本服となったフーディー。今作は本来の色が判別しにくくなるほど進んだ褪色、航空機メーカーの作業着・社内スポーツ物を思わせる“AIR CRAFT CORP”のレタリングを大きな特徴としております。BOWWOWの顔とも言えるオリジナルで編み立てた拘りの厚地の裏パイルスウェットを使用。身頃サイドはリバースウィーブ仕様、リラックスシルエットで様々なボトムスと合う汎用性の高い一着です。

This piece draws inspiration from the hooded sweatshirt, which evolved from American work and athletic wear. Originally popular as a practical garment that could cover the head while working in cold conditions or waiting between competitions, the hoodie became a staple of a wide range of youth cultures including college, skateboarding, and hip-hop in the postwar era. This piece is characterized by its advanced fading so pronounced that the original color is barely discernible and the “AIR CRAFT CORP” lettering, reminiscent of workwear and in-house sportswear from aircraft manufacturers. It features BOWWOW’s signature thick, custom-knitted fleece with a pile lining, which is essentially the brand’s hallmark. The sides of the body feature a reverse-weave construction, and its relaxed silhouette makes it a versatile piece that pairs well with a variety of bottoms.
