1940~50年代のアメリカで、スポーツシャツや余暇着として好まれたレーヨンシャツを背景にした一着。ワークウエアとは異なる柔らかな落ち感と光沢は、戦後の若者文化やロカビリー、後のヴィンテージファッションの中で独特の存在感を持つようなりました。長年使われ破れた箇所にリペアを施し、愛着という言葉が似合う服となった表情をデザイン。不均一な表情がこのアイテムの大きな特徴となっております。柔らかく落ちる杢糸含むレーヨンチェック生地を50年代のイメージで製作されており、ワークネルとは違うドレープを強調し、着用時に柄が身体の動きで崩れることで平置き以上にヴィンテージらしい表情が出ます。衿や、プリーツ仕様のディティールで40年代イメージを採用することにより、カジュアル過ぎない大人な佇まいを合わせ持つ一枚に仕上がっております。

This piece is inspired by rayon shirts, which were popular as sports shirts and casual wear in the United States during the 1940s and 1950s. With a soft drape and sheen distinct from workwear, these shirts came to hold a unique presence in postwar youth culture, rockabilly, and later vintage fashion. The design captures the look of a garment that has been cherished over the years with repairs applied to worn and torn areas giving it a character that truly embodies the concept of “attachment.” The irregular texture is a defining feature of this item. Crafted with a soft, draping rayon check fabric that incorporates heathered yarns in a 1950s-inspired style, this piece emphasizes a drape distinct from that of work flannel. When worn, the pattern shifts with the wearer’s movements, creating a look that appears even more vintage than when laid flat. By incorporating 1940s-inspired details such as the collar and pleated design, the shirt achieves a sophisticated, mature look that avoids being overly casual.
