オリジナルのセルビッジデニムで製作したANCELLMの定番となるデニムジャケット。ワンウォッシュのタイプです。セルビッジデニムの製織から着手し洗いにかけるだけではなく、深いインディゴに薄く茶系の染料を広げ、その上からもう一色をレイヤーで重ねることで着始めからムードの滲む表情で製作。濃紺のデニムにありがちな野暮ったさを払拭し、デニムのセットアップでも仄かに色気が漂うように黒々とした深みを作り込みました。デザインはVINTAGEの名作を研究し理解を深めて踏襲しつつも、敢えて崩して再構築することで現代を見据えた形としてモダナイズしております。経年変化の美しさを突き詰めたオリジナルのセルビッジデニムに対して、ワンウォッシュにもしっかり工程を重ねました。沢山着用を重ね、表情の変化と共にお楽しみください。

■INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
This classic denim jacket from ANCELLM is crafted from original selvedge denim. It is a one-wash style. Rather than simply weaving the selvedge denim and washing it, we create a look that exudes character from the very first wear by spreading a light brown dye over the deep indigo and layering another color on top. We’ve eliminated the clunky look often associated with dark indigo denim and crafted a rich, deep black hue that lends a subtle allure even when worn as a denim set. While the design draws inspiration from and pays homage to vintage masterpieces based on in-depth study and understanding we’ve deliberately deconstructed and reconstructed them to create a modernized silhouette with a contemporary edge. Just as we’ve pursued the beauty of aging in our original selvedge denim, we’ve also applied a meticulous multi-step process to this single-wash piece. Please enjoy it as you wear it often and watch its character evolve over time.
