長年の研究と職人の技術を全面に宿したデニムは、ANCELLMの象徴となる存在です。細かな汚しや小穴の一つ一つまでバランスを計算し、熟練の職人が一点一点に手作業で加工に臨む。手擦りによって淡いグラデーションのフェードが生まれ、独自調合の染料でキャラクターを重ねる。立体的なコントラストを強調し、淡色・中色・濃色のそれぞれのレイヤーで色彩のバランスを測りながらムードを構築しています。新型として製作したシューカットシルエットは太すぎず、細すぎずの心地良いバランスを狙い、裾にかけて僅かに広げてクッショニングを意識しました。全体を淡色寄りのムードで整えることでグランジの空気感を纏わせながら、対極となる洗練さも併せ持たせております。ローテクのスニーカーに乗せて少しだけ裾を引きずりながら履くイメージでしたが、ドレスシューズやブーツで綺麗に整えたスタイルもコントラストが効いておすすめです。

ANCELLM’s denim, embodying years of research and artisanal craftsmanship, has become the brand’s signature. Skilled artisans meticulously calculate the balance of every detail from subtle distressing to each tiny hole and hand-finish every single piece. Hand-rubbing creates a soft, gradient fade, while a proprietary dye blend adds layers of character. By emphasizing three-dimensional contrast and carefully balancing the colors across light, medium, and dark layers, we build a distinctive mood. The newly designed shoe-cut silhouette aims for a comfortable balance neither too wide nor too narrow and is slightly flared toward the hem to provide a sense of cushioning. By keeping the overall tone on the lighter side, the design exudes a grunge vibe while simultaneously embodying a contrasting sense of sophistication. While the original vision was to wear them with low-tech sneakers, letting the hem trail slightly behind, we also recommend pairing them with dress shoes or boots for a clean, polished look that creates a striking contrast.
