古いニットガウンから着想し新たな解釈で製作したショールカラーのカーディガン。ウールを主軸にカシミアとシルクを掛け合わせ癖になるような肌当たりと気品のある表情の糸を凹凸を作りながら甘く編み上げて仕立てました。長く大ぶりなショールカラーを首周りに載せくるみボタンを置いたクラシックな印象から、衿を立てれば和装のような重なりが現れ、作務衣を思わせる見栄えに変わります。弾力のある肉感と心地の良い重みを活かしながら着物の作りを参考にしたパターンワークで、落ちと流れの美しいシルエットを描いております。

■INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
Inspired by vintage knit robes and crafted with a fresh interpretation, this shawl-collar cardigan is made primarily from wool blended with cashmere and silk. The yarn which offers an irresistibly soft feel against the skin and an elegant appearance is gently knitted to create a textured, soft finish. The long, oversized shawl collar drapes around the neck, and when fastened with the covered buttons, it creates a classic look. However, when the collar is stood up, it creates a layered effect reminiscent of traditional Japanese attire, transforming the appearance into one reminiscent of a samue work jacket. Drawing inspiration from kimono construction, the pattern work utilizes the fabric’s elastic texture and comfortable weight to create a silhouette with beautiful drape and flow.
