継続して製作しているバルマカーンコート。オリジナルで製織したウールブランケットを素材にアップデートを加えて仕立てました。膨らみのある糸からゆっくりと丁寧に織り上げたオリジナルレシピのウールブランケットは、織りの組織と色の掛け合わせを吟味して製織することで英国的なムードの細かなチェックのようにも映り、クラシックな暖かみを表現したテキスタイル。その素材の持つクラシックなムードを尊重し、閉じても開いても美しく整って見えるよう程良いゆとりを持たせながら傾斜させた衿作り。現代らしい余白がありつつも端正なシルエットを描き大人びた品の良さと風格を纏わせております。しっかりと暖かさを保つ素材を使いながらコートに懸念される重たさを取り払うため、肩に乗る重量を分散させるパターンを研究し軽快な羽織り心地を実現しました。流行り廃りに左右されず長く愛用して頂けると思いますので、是非、お試し下さい。

We continue to produce our Balmacaan coats. For this version, we’ve updated the design using our original hand-woven wool blanket as the fabric. Woven slowly and meticulously from voluminous yarns according to our original recipe, this wool blanket is crafted with careful consideration of the weave structure and color combinations resulting in a fabric that evokes the look of a fine British-style check and exudes classic warmth. Respecting the classic character of this fabric, we designed a slanted collar with just the right amount of ease to ensure it looks beautifully tailored whether worn open or closed. It features a clean silhouette with a modern sense of space, exuding a mature elegance and dignity. To eliminate the heaviness often associated with coats while using a fabric that retains warmth effectively, we researched patterns that distribute the weight across the shoulders, achieving a light and airy feel when worn. We believe this coat will stand the test of time and remain a cherished piece in your wardrobe, so please give it a try.
