■COMMENT

■INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
A reversible garment that combines a quilted liner with a sukajan jacket. The front of the sukajan side features an embroidered hawk, while the back showcases Viet-style embroidery inspired by Chiba Prefecture, the designer’s hometown. This piece was designed around a play on words “Chiba-jan” which is neither a sukajan nor a Viet-style jacket. The skajan portion is crafted from lightweight ripstop nylon fabric with a woodland-pattern sublimation transfer print. The liner features a wool herringbone fabric for the body and a gun club check fabric for the sleeves; combined with cowhide leather for the reinforced panels, this creates a garment characterized by the contrast between materials with distinct textures and visual appeal. From the three available color options, we selected the one that best embodies Elefab’s signature style the one with the most striking contrast between the front and back.
